Ursula Bozena Ulankiewicz February 3, 1947 - January 22, 2002
It is with great saddness that I inform you of Ursula's passing on January 22, 2002 at 4:20am in her home. She was surrounded by family and friends who truly loved her as she passed on. Once again, thank you for all the prayers and support during this tough time. May God bless you.
A wake will be held on Thursday and Friday from 4pm-9pm at Laskowski Casey Funeral Home with a prayer service on Friday at 7pm. The address is:

The Funeral will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2002. The procession will leave Laskowski Funeral Home at 10:15am and arrive at St. Hyacinth (Jackowie) (3636 W. Wolfram St.) for an 11am mass. The procession will then proceed to Maryhill Cemetery in Niles. Afterwards there will be a Luncheon at the White Eagle (Przybylo). !Update! December 1, 2001: First of all, thank you to everyone who has contributed his/her prayers and support to Ursula through this website. Your wishes have helped lift the spirits of Ursula and her family and we are truly touched by everyone's kindness and genuine concern. Through your efforts, we indeed believe that the power of prayer and overwhelming support is helping Ursula's fight. In the past few weeks, Ursula has gained nearly 10 pounds and she is requiring less medication to manage the pain as of late. Please continue your wonderful efforts as they are contributing greatly to Ursula's well-being. We continue to seek out new medical treatments along this uphill battle, but the healing power of God remains our greatest asset. Please continue to make your voices heard as God is listening. We plan to bring more things to this website in the near future, so we can continue to use this community as a mode of support for Ursula. After all, we all love her dearly. Thank you very much and God bless.
